Q: Where do I purchase the study materials?

Q: When should I purchase the texts and study materials to prepare for CMPU On Demand and taking the CMP exam?
A: MPINCC recommends you purchase the books as soon as you know you plan to study to take the exam.
Q: Does CMPU On Demand count toward college or university credit?
A: No. CMPU On Demand is an exam prep program offered through MPINCC and is not affiliated in any way with a college or university curriculum.
Q: Do I need my textbooks and study materials before viewing the first class? How should I prepare for each class?
A: It is not required, but highly recommended that you have your books before viewing the first class. You will have a substantial amount of reading to do before each class. The CMPU On Demand Curriculum references specific homework assignments to prepare for each topic.
Q: Does CMPU On Demand qualify for continuing education through the EIC Preferred Provider Program?
A: While MPINCC’s annual live (virtual during COVID-19) course is approved by EIC through the Preferred Provider Program, CMPU On Demand is not. Participants may manually input their contact hours into their EIC profiles with documentation, such as proof of purchase.
Q: Does scoring high on the practice quizzes ensure preparedness to pass the CMP examination?
A: While MPINCC CMP University graduates enjoy a very high success rate with the CMP examination, a candidate's performance on the practice quizzes does not guarantee similar performance on the actual examination.
